Description

Our Let’s Get Creative Club Meeting for September will be on Sept 24, 2022 from 9:30 am – 11:00 am, CDT. Please make note of this date and time.

Joanne has a pretty and practical apron that makes a wonderful apron for the sewing room! An embroidered in-the-hoop pocket is decorated with sewing motifs and a fun quilted background. This is a project that has lots of possibilities! You can also choose to create the pocket by adding your own designs using the plain pocket file. Files include pocket for 5X7 and 8X8 hoops.

Reen will show you how to sew a perfect mitered corner tea towel using onsaburg fabric. Once made you can embroider or embellish your towel however you’d like. No embroidery files are included for the towel

Any instructions (PDF) or designs  we offer for our meeting can be downloaded from your order history as soon as payment is received for the meeting.

We will meet via Zoom. You will receive the link to login to the meeting 24-36 hours prior to start time. It’s your responsibility to make sure you have the link before the meeting starts.  Please check your spam/junk folders if you do not receive the email in your inbox within 24 hours the start of the meeting.  Our sessions will be recorded. More About Creative Club Meetings

Reen Wilcoxson and Joanne Banko have teamed up to bring you monthly Let’s Get Creative meetings. Our meetings are designed to for you to have fun with sewing friends in a casual online environment, and learn tips, trick and techniques from your classroom hosts Reen and Joanne.

We’ll start each session with both Reen and Joanne presenting demonstrations of an embroidery, sewing, quilting, or crafting technique or project, complete with a coordinating PDF project/tip sheet and design (if applicable) for you to download. Any demoed designs would fit a 5×7 hoop. All brands of machines are welcome! Our demos will be a great watch and learn time for you.

As you likely know, Reen is famous for her In-The-Hoop projects, and Joanne is well known for a wide variety out of the hoop creations! You’re sure to learn something new in each session.

What else goes on during our time together?  We’ll have  time for sharing ideas, show and tell, and helping you with questions. Expect some surprise giveaways and special offerings exclusively for participants during some of our meetings.
