Make our cute sewing themed small wall hanging yourself using a 7×12 hoop on your embroidery and sewing machines. This hanging matches our Sew Cute Wall Hanging.
The blocks are made in the hoop then stitched together. The finished hanging measures approximately 11.50″ wide by 18″ high (minus the fabric hanger)
Included are the pins, pincushion and seam ripper blocks, the 2 pieced fabric strip blocks and 4 top panel blocks that include the following lettering
I’d Rather Be Sewing
If you see me with a Seam Ripper Now is Not the Time
Sewing Mends the Soul
Welcome to My Sewing Room
There are a total of 9 block designs. The blocks are set up with placement and the stippling so they can be stitched in the hoop.
The 4 top panels and the pins, seam ripper and pincushion are included as non-blocks with no placement or stippling so you can stitch them on anything.
SVG files are included for the applique pieces on the pincushion and seam ripper. They are optional to use if you have a cutting machine.
A fabric hanger piece is included to give you the ability to hang it from a 12″ hanger. This piece could be skipped and you can use a clip style hanger if desired. The sewing machine hanger we used is available from Ackfeld Wire.
Complete instructions are included for all the blocks, stitching the row and sections together. You can quilt and bind the hanging how you want. Instructions do not include how to bind the hanging.
A sewing machine is required.
