Hoop N Press Pad Reviews

1) I love the hoop and press pads so much that I bought a second set for our weekend home where I have another embroidery machine. They make pressing my in the hoop bags and other projects so easy and the crisp seams make for a much more professional end product. I even grabbed one a minute ago just to tape down an item more securely-they really help keep the stabilizer taught as it should be. I was so excited when Reen came out with the 4×4 as well and I had to buy a couple of those. I may not use that hoop as often but it’s nice to have the pads when you do. I can’t say enough good things about these little gems – Tammy W.

2) I have the original press pads that Reen offered that have the handle. I love them and not only use for embroidery pressing they are fantastic when we need to press our seams flat when doing piecing of our quilt blocks. I love the handles so I can hang them for storage as well. I have 2 sizes one for my medium hoops and one for my largest hoop – Ginger F.

3) I purchased a set of the original press pads with handles which I love because I can hang them on my pegboard. They’re also useful as regular pressing mats for small pieces when a quick press is needed. They’re a perfect fit for embroidery hoops to protect your project for pressing appliqué seams. Can’t go wrong with these! – Alice J.

4) I have two sets of the #hoopnpresspads by Embroidery Garden and I don’t know what I did without them. They are so versatile! Not only are they good for using with in the hoop projects but they also make fabulous sewing side companions for small projects when you just need a quick press or for pressing seams open on quilt blocks. And I love the no skid bottoms so they stay in place wherever you use them! I use one set for in the hoop projects and the other stays near my machine for those little sewing side projects – Caroline B.

5) Love love love how easy they make doing in the hoop projects…also use them as individual ironing press pads for small objects – Sandra H.

6) I have both sets for my Babylock Solaris. I highly recommend these Hoop and Press Pads for stitching in the hoop projects. They support what is in your hoop when you have to add a layer to the lower hoop and they are just perfect for pressing without disrupting the project’s position in the hoop. I also use the larger ones as an extra pressing surface next to the machine. The non skid backing helps a lot and they don’t slide like wool press mats. I also use them to support shirts when I am pressing heat transfer vinyl – Laurie A.

7) Love the mats , they stay in place when you’re using them . And so versatile for different uses and different sizes of hoops. You can stack them to be used for the Bernina hoops , oval up to jumbo size With the ratchet dial closer – Cindy D.

8) Treated myself to these 2wks ago…an early Mothers Day, thanks hubby!…and they are awesome! I got them for my Baby Lock Valient but by using them as press pads around my sewing room too, they’re multi taskers.  Thank You Reen, for a great product and the very fast shipping! – Vanessa B.

9) Love the hoop and press pads. First I got the standard ones then got the new ones for viking. They’re so useful so many pressing needs – Barbara R.

10) These pads are so handy! When I began appliquing with my embroidery machine I knew I needed them! I would use a small book to put inside the hoop when trimming around the applique. It never really fit! When Reen came out with these pads I bought the set. They are so handy for all my hoops. What a time saver and my appliqués don’t get stretched as I trim! They have many other used but that’s what saved me. Thanks, Reen – Elaine R.

11) They are great for embroidery projects and appliques! As a garnent maker, I also use them for pressing small seams, collars, pant hems, pockets cuffs, etc!I love the versatility! –  Carrie C.

12) I have had the pads for my smaller hoops for quite awhile and have to say, I use for almost every project! When you need to turn your hoop over to work on the back of the hoop they add the perfect stability. Pressing in the hoop is spot on perfect with these wool mats and they don’t slip around! I am off to purchase two of the larger ones for my bigger hoops. Thank you Reen for offering these, they truly are a game changer! – Lin G.
