Frequently Asked Questions

We sell machine embroidery design files. You need an embroidery machine to use these files. We do not sell the finished items shown.

We have a few sewing patterns available HERE. Please read the description of these patterns before purchasing.

It is your responsibility to know what size designs your machine can stitch. Our design dimensions are listed in the description for each design.

Due to the electronic nature of the files we sell, know that there are no refunds, returns or exchanges on our digital files. You agree to this by purchasing our files.

The files you are purchasing are zipped. The zipped file contains the design files and instructions. It is your responsibility to know how to unzip file and transfer those files to your machine.

Please note, we do not offer support for designs transferred via the Amazing Box, PE Basic, PE-Lite, etc. We have experienced problems with these softwares.

How do I receive my order?

Your order is available immediately after completing the payment process. Return to Embroidery Garden to download the zipped files containing the designs and instructions (PDFs).
You also receive an email with download links for your order. Check your spam & junk folders.
You can, at any time, login on our site and download your order under My Account.
It is your responsibility to know how to unzip files and transfer those files to your embroidery machine.

Can I order designs on a CD?

Yes! There is an additional charge of $15.00 to have one order burned to a CD and first class postage (in the US only). Send us an email letting us know you want your order mailed on a CD. Please include the format wanted and any size, if applicable.

A PayPal invoice will be sent for the CD. Make sure your address is correct at PayPal as this is where the CD will be mailed.

Are instructions included with the designs? I can’t find them.

All of our designs come with instructions. They are PDFs and are only available in English.  If you unzip files using an embroidery software, PDFs are not recognized. You need to open the zipped file to see the PDF. Adobe Reader is required to view PDFs. You can download a free reader from www.adobe.com

My computer crashed, my USB stick broke, etc. How can I retrieve designs I’ve already ordered?

Login and re-download your orders from My Account. If your link needs to be reset, email us.

Please note free designs are not emailed to anyone. If a design was free at one time but is now for sale you will have to purchase the file if you want it.

Do you offer refunds?

Sorry, there are no refunds, returns or exchanges on the digital files you purchase on this site. Please note it is your responsibility to make sure designs will fit your hoop before you purchase them.
Actual design dimensions and formats included are listed on the product pages.

Discontinued Designs

If a design has been discontinued, you may not have a download link in your order history. All designs should be backed up securely when purchased. If the design needed to be downloaded again, you may be asked to provide proof of purchase.

Do you have coupon codes or sales?

We do! Sales, classes, new designs, coupon codes, etc. are announced via our Newsletter. Sign up to receive our newsletter at the bottom of this page on the right hand side.

Can I sell finished items made with Embroidery Garden designs?

You can sell items with our designs embroidered on them and finished ‘In the Hoop’ items. Please read and abide by our copyright rules. The link to our copyright is at the bottom of this page under Quick Links.
You may not mass produce our items for sale. If you reach 200 sales of any one item, please contact us.

Shipping of Tangible Items

Tangible items that we sell such as Hoop N Press Pads, Vinyl Luggage Tags, USB Sticks, Acrylic Templates, Fleece Panels, etc. will be charged shipping on the checkout page. We ship in the US only via USPS.
If there is more than one order shipping to the same address, the orders will be combined and shipped together. Any excess shipping charge will be refunded.

Note that all items are shipped to the address listed on your account on our site. It is your responsibility to double check the shipping address and inform us of any change to the address you want your items mailed to via email using our Contact Us button immediately after ordering. We are not responsible for items being mailed to the wrong address.

You are sent a tracking number to the email address used on PayPal. Be sure to check your spam or junk folders for this email. You can enter this number at USPS.com to track your package. If you don’t receive an email with your tracking number with 48 hours, contact us.

If you experience any problems with undelivered items (if USPS.com shows your package as being delivered or tracking shows it stuck in a hub) you will need to contact USPS.com. We are not responsible for the package after it leaves our hands. If any packages are returned back to us, you will be notified.

Free Designs &/or Limited Time Free Designs

Free and/or limited time free designs that are on our web site or on our Facebook page will not be sent out to anyone. If they were offered on our site as a free design or a limited time free design and are removed your download in your order history will not be valid any longer. This includes the free designs and instructions. If you download freebies, please back them up. Once removed some free and/or limited time free designs are put into sets or sold as singles on our web site or are discontinued for various reasons.

All of our instructions are written in English and use inches for measurements.

We reserve the right to refuse to sell our designs / products to anyone for any reason. For additional info, click the Copyright link below under ‘Quick Links’.
